GRF4UA aims to boost project potential during the early development stage through blended finance: grants, concession finance, green philanthropies, and impact investors.
We are derisking projects by applying for war insurance and guarantees provided by governments and financial institutions.
The project envisages the development of 17 multimodal biomethane production plants to produce electricity, substitute natural gas, and support pressure requirements in gas pipes in the country. The scalable model is focused on using agricultural producers and waste to secure a constant supply of raw materials and utilizing intermediate crops as another type of input for the production of biomethane.
The planned funding is 70% debt and 30% equity. The project is set to attract state guarantees and investment insurance coverage.
Green ammonia emerges as a pivotal player in the battle against climate change, facilitating the integration of renewable energy and steering the global economy toward greater environmental sustainability.
Our project entails establishing a green ammonia production plant, complete with a transportation/ bunkering terminal for efficient maritime transportation.
The strategic location of Suothen Ukraine, near Odesa, the Black Sea, reduces the financial and environmental costs of transportation.
GRF4UA currently supports two transformational projects related to green city infrastructure development.
Chervonohrad is a pilot project that aims to transform an industrial city in the West of Ukraine into a green industrial park. The local government incentivizes investors to build various RES plants, equip residential infrastructure with energy-efficient facilities, and improve waste management while shutting down the existing coal mines.
Vlasne Misto is a private initiative that envisions the development of a green, energy-efficient, and technologically advanced town that is convenient for sustainable life, recreation, and business.
The total RES potential in Ukraine is 874 GW, of which solar PV is 83 GW. The Renewable Energy Action Plan promises the state’s continued support for the industry.
An energy hub combining solar PV, wind power, and storage systems represents a ground-breaking stride in sustainable power generation: solar PV captures energy during sunlight hours, wind turbines contribute during the remaining hours; and storage systems, such as batteries, address intermittency issues.
The hub would improve grid and land usage, raise cost efficiency, and reduce risk.
